Something truly legendary is brewing in the heart of Scotland — and you're invited to be part of it.

On Saturday, 30 January 2027, A Dram of Destiny will take over the SEC in Glasgow for what promises to be the biggest Burns Night celebration in history. And we don’t say that lightly — we’re officially aiming to break not one, but two Guinness World Records:

The largest Burns Supper ever held
The largest in-person whisky tasting the world has ever seen

Over the past few weeks, our team has been pouring heart, heritage, and high spirits into building this one-of-a-kind event. And now? We’re ready to raise the curtain.

🎨 A Look, A Legacy – Our New Logo is in progress

We knew this event deserved more than just a name — it needed an identity. Our new logo reflects everything A Dram of Destiny stands for:

Three whisky drams, perfectly poured for our tasting challenge.
A traditional burns night event.
A nod to Scottish tradition, with historic fonts and symbolism.
And of course, our proud rallying cry: #IWASPARTOFIT.

We even took things a step further by designing our very own bespoke tartan. Woven with modern flair and traditional pride, this pattern captures the essence of the night — bold, Scottish, and unforgettable.

🪑 250 Tables. One Stage. Countless Memories.

Inside Hall 4 of the SEC, we’ll welcome 2,500 guests seated banquet-style around a central stage — the heart of the evening’s entertainment. We’re carefully mapping a seating plan that offers something for everyone, from VIP tables with unbeatable views to affordable Bronze-tier seats, ensuring no one misses the magic.

🥂 World-Class Whisky. Historic Celebration.

The main event? A guided tasting of three premium Single Malt whiskies, led by industry experts and served simultaneously to every guest in the room. With Guinness World Records adjudicators onsite, this will be a tasting for the history books.

Of course, no Burns Night would be complete without a full three-course supper, traditional toasts, bagpipes, poetry, and ceilidh dancing. The entire evening is a celebration of who we are — as Scots, as whisky lovers, and as storytellers.

💙 For Doddie. For a Cause.

This isn’t just about breaking records. It’s about making a difference. A Dram of Destiny is a not-for-profit event, with all proceeds after costs going to the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation to support research and care for those affected by Motor Neurone Disease.

We raise a dram not only in celebration — but in solidarity.
