Our Partners (so far)

Breaking a Guinness World Record isn’t something that happens overnight—it takes vision, dedication, and the support of an extraordinary team. A Dram of Destiny simply wouldn’t be possible without the passion and expertise of our incredible partners, each bringing their unique skills to the table to create a truly unforgettable whisky experience. From whisky industry leaders to event specialists and charitable organisations making a real impact, every partner plays a crucial role in making this world-record attempt a reality. Together, we’re not just hosting an event—we’re crafting a moment in whisky history that will be remembered for years to come.

On Saturday, 30 January 2027, something truly unforgettable will happen in Edinburgh. The event is being proposed for the iconic surroundings of the Royal Highland Centre, where the Highland hall will fill with the sound of pipes, the scent of haggis, the clink of glasses, and the unmistakable spirit of Scotland — as 2,500 proud guests gather to write their names into history.

Introducing A Dram of Destiny: a bold and beautiful attempt to break two Guinness World Records in one spectacular night — the world’s largest Burns Supper and the largest in-person whisky tasting ever held.

This isn’t just a celebration. It’s a call to Scots at home and around the world, and to lovers of whisky, poetry, and tradition everywhere, to put on your finest frocks, your sharpest kilts, and raise a dram with us in a once-in-a-lifetime tribute to our national bard and our national drink.

Step into an evening steeped in Scottish heritage and nostalgia — from the piping in of the haggis to the immortal memory, the ceilidh band, and the expert-led tasting of three fine whiskies, all shared among 2,500 kindred spirits under one roof.

And we’re doing it all with heart. A Dram of Destiny is a not-for-profit event, with all proceeds after costs going directly to the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation, supporting life-changing work in the fight against Motor Neurone Disease.

This is your invitation to be part of history. One night. One stage. One proud nation, raising one mighty glass.
